This section publishes economic and financial analysis reports, coordinated or contributed by Directorate I of the Department of the Treasury.
The Report on the expenditure of the Central Administrations of the State, provided by Art.1, paragraph 480 of Law No. 296 of December 27, 2006 (PDF, 17,05 KB) and by Art. 3, paragraph 67 of Law No.244 of December 24, 2007 (PDF, 25,06 KB), analyses the expenditure process of both the entire budget of the State and that of the single Ministry so as to identify the possible critical issues, the opportunity of re-allocating resources, and the strategies for improving results in terms of quality and efficiency.
The Report is composed of two volumes. The first volume examines the expenditure process through the data of the Budget of the State at an aggregate level, identifying the critical issues and analyses the expenditure of each Ministry. The second volume is a Statistical Appendix that provides the analytical data of the Budget of the State, also as time series. The first Report was published in September 2009.
