Directorate III – International Financial Relations
Directorate III – International Financial Relations - is responsible for the following:
- international economic and financial affairs;
- analysis of the international economic, monetary and financial system and the economic policies for the main areas;
- participation in informal intergovernmental groups, including the G7, the G8, and the G20;
- rapporti con gli organi delle istituzioni internazionali a carattere monetario e finanziario, ivi inclusi l'UE, l'OCSE, l'FMI, le Banche e i Fondi di sviluppo, la BEI;
- relations with international economic, monetary and financial bodies and institutions, including the EU, the OECD, the IMF, multilateral development banks and funds, and the EIB;
- participation in committees established by international organisations, including EFC, ECOFIN, the Euro Group, and the WP3;
- participation in the drafting and execution of international economic and financial agreements and treaties;
- officially supported export credits, internationalisation of Italian companies, unilateral transfers and development aid;
- fraud prevention with respect to payment means.
